The town of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba has two train stations remaining. The ex CP station is now a museum. The ex CN station was operated by VIA Rail but is now dormant.
Canadian Pacific Station

This station was built in 1893.
A serious fire damaged the station on November 1, 2002. A committee was formed shortly after to repair the station. Over the years, many events have been held to raise funds.
