Kaslo, BC is the home to a rebuilt train station and the SS Moyie, the oldest intact sternwheeler boat in the world.
Kaslo hosted a narrow-gauge railway, the Kaslo and Slocan, that served the nearby Sandon silver mines. After the mine ended, the railway entered hard times until being leased by the CPR in 1912 and connected to their existing Nakusp & Slocan railway. It ended operation in 1955.
