NBEC 4230 was an MLW C-424 purchased from Canadian Pacific. CP 4230 was built in 1965 and was shown as still active on CP in early 1997. NBEC 4230 was repaired in December 1999 by the NBEC Campbellton shop after an unknown incident. It was sent to IRSI on June 17 2003 for work.
