NB Southern unit 3744 was a GP9E built in March 1957 for the Southern Pacific Railroad as SP 5769. It was renumbered to 3610 at some point. In 1973 it was renumbered to 3744. In 1995 it was sold to the NB Southern Railway. NBSR 3744 was disposed of in 2001.
