NB Southern 2317 is a GP38-2. It came from the Sydney Coal Railway (SCR), formerly Devco, together with NBSR 2318 and NBSR 2319. It used to be Devco #217. It was repainted at NB Southern’s Dever Road yard into the Sunbury yellow colour seen here. Initially it was painted yellow, with black and white stripes added later to match the Sunbury trucks. It was later repainted to the standard NB Southern green in 2007.
