CN Newmarket Subdivision

The CN Newmarket subdivision runs between Parkdale (Toronto) and North Bay, Ontario.

Metrolinx purchased the first 60 miles / 96 km of track in late 2009. Barrie-Bradford GO Train service is operated on this portion. CN continued to serve five customers on the subdivision.

The portion between Barrie (Allandale) and Longford was abandoned in late 1996 and the rails were lifted. The last VIA Rail train that operated on this section was on September 22, 1996.
