Dawn breaks
Over the sullen landscape;
A ray of the light
Pierces the somber dark.
For how long has the land suffered?
For an eternity;
Lost in confusion and pain,
Trapped in shadow.
But now light shines forth,
Brightening the barren plains;
The land awakens, in joy,
To face life once again.

More proof that you don’t need a train to make great railfan photos!
Thank you!
Very nice indeed!
As always you have a special way of touching our souls and helping us pause to reflect on subjects we too often overlook as we highball through life!
Thank you so much, Bob! Highball! 😉
The photos are 10 out of 10, but I don’t like fog, snow stuff, at least not the bleak side.
I think I just contradicted myself. haha
Thanks for sharing Steve, keep up the great work even if it lifts me up and then brings me down.
Maybe hot air balloons are more my thing!
SteveO
Thanks, SteveO – that’s a long walk from fog and snow to hot air balloons!
Great shot.
Thank you!
