Weyerhauser (formerly Eagle Forest Products) operated a mill in Miramichi.
It was served by the New Brunswick East Coast Railway, on the Loggieville Spur.
The plant owned one locomotive, 8033. It was built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1960 as an RS-23 for Canadian Pacific.
It was acquired by the plant in December 1996 via Canac. It was still decorated in its CP colours for quite some time but was eventually repainted in green and yellow.
Since the Weyerhauser mill closed, the locomotive was stored for a number of years. The mill was purchased by Arbec and restarted. In 2014 the RS-23 was sold to le Chemin de Fer Sartigan (CFS), who operate on the former Quebec Central.
