This is the Canadian Pacific Railway public timetable, effective from September 30, 1956 to April 27, 1957.
This timetable covered all of Canadian Pacific Railway’s passenger train schedules, as well as Canadian Pacific Express Motor Vehicle Routes, Canadian Pacific Transport Co. Ltd., connections to other railways, hotels and lodges, the Rail-Auto Travel Plan, and much more.
It also covered steamships on the Great Lakes, the Atlantic Ocean, the British Columbia coast and Alaska service, and the Bay of Fundy service.
Thank you for this, Comes in handy, Writing my immigrant story. Came from the Netherlands in 1957 by ship and the “Dominion” from Montreal to Vancouver.
Hi Peter, I’m glad the timetable helped with your story!
Hi Steve,
Do you have any CPR timetables from around ’54 that would show the stops/stations travelling from Winnipeg to Vancouver? As a kid I rode the trains between those cities, and on a CPR Pass as my dad was a section foreman in southern Manitoba. I’d love to see one and maybe get a copy…?
Thanks so much.
Hello Sharon, I’ve sent you an email.
