The CN Miami subdivision runs from mile 0.0 to mile 2.1. This short segment of track remains to serve the Cargill grain elevator in Morris. It was refurbished a few years ago to extend it, including two tracks and a switch at the far end.
The original Miami subdivision was sold to the Southern Manitoba Railway (SMNR), who took over operation of the Miami and Hartney subdivisions and a portion of the CN Carman subdivision in August 1999. The SMNR interchanged with CN in Morris, Manitoba. The SMNR ceased operation in 2007. The SMNR operated using an ex-CN HR412 locomotive #3536 (now on the Grenada Railway in Mississippi).
