In 1977 the heaviest car permitted was 220,000 lbs. The following units were prohibited on the subdivision, except on the wye at Hudson Bay: CN 2000-3240, CN 4000-4017, CN 4900-6900 and CN 9400-9632.
Inland Cement had a quarry near Mafeking that provided railway traffic until it was closed in the mid 1990s.
